LUVAÉ Shipping & Delivery Policy

 

1. Overview & Scope

  • This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed through LUVAÉ’s U.S. online store (for U.S. customers).
  • Delivery timeframes, carrier options, and charges are estimates only and are not guarantees.
  • “Business days” means Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
  • All delivery timeframes begin on the day after your order is placed, unless otherwise noted.


2. Order Confirmation & Tracking

  • After your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Once your order ships, you will receive a second email with tracking details (carrier, tracking number, and estimated delivery window).
  • You can also check your tracking status via your LUVAÉ account or via the carrier’s tracking portal.


3. Processing Time

  • Typically, orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends/holidays).
  • Orders placed after our cutoff time (e.g. after 2:00 PM UTC-5) or on non-business days may be processed the next business day.
  • During promotions, holidays, or peak seasons, processing might take longer; we will notify you of any delays.


4. Shipping Methods & Estimates

  • The actual delivery time may vary based on destination, carrier delays, weather, or other unforeseen conditions.
  • If delivery is delayed beyond your estimated window, contact us for options (refund, replacement, etc.).


5. Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout, based on the selected shipping method, weight, destination, and carrier.
  • LUVAÉ may offer free standard shipping on orders above a specified minimum (e.g. “Free U.S. ground shipping on orders over $75”).
  • Gift card orders may not count toward qualifying for free shipping.
  • If a promotion covers shipping (e.g. “free expedited shipping”), it will be clearly stated at time of checkout.


6. Delivery & Risk Transfer

  • Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you once the shipment is handed off to the carrier.
  • Title (ownership) transfers to you when payment is accepted (or as otherwise provided in our Terms & Conditions).
  • If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, you must notify us within 7 days of the estimated delivery date, with evidence (photos, tracking info, etc.).
  • For damaged or incorrect items, we will work with you to replace or refund at no extra cost.


7. Address Changes, Refusals & Unclaimed Packages

  • If you request an address change after the order has shipped, we may charge additional fees or may not be able to accommodate the change.
  • If you refuse delivery or a package is unclaimed and returned to us, you may be charged return shipping + reshipment fees.
  • You are responsible for ensuring a secure delivery location. If a carrier deems delivery impossible (e.g. unsafe location), they may attempt a redelivery or return to sender.


8. Shipping Restrictions & Exclusions

  • Currently, LUVAÉ ships to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses where carriers permit.
  • We may exclude certain remote territories or islands depending on carrier capacity.
  • Some product types (e.g. hazardous materials, restricted items) may have limited shipping options or be excluded entirely.
  • If shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories, delivery windows may be longer and additional shipping surcharges may apply.


9. Customs, Duties & Taxes (For International Orders)

  • International orders may incur import duties, taxes, or customs processing fees upon entry into the destination country. These are the customer’s responsibility.
  • LUVAÉ is not responsible for delays due to customs clearance.


10. Service Interruptions & Delays

  • We are not liable for delays outside our control (e.g. carrier delays, weather, natural disasters, labor strikes).
  • If a delay is expected to be significant, we will notify you and offer options (e.g. cancel, refund, re-ship).
  • For lost packages beyond the delivery estimate and after carrier investigation, we will provide replacement or refund.


11. Cancellations & Modifications

  • You may request to cancel or modify an order before it ships. Once the order has shipped, cancellation may not be possible.
  • If we cancel your order for any reason (out of stock, processing error, etc.), we will notify you and refund any amount paid.


12. Policy Disclosure & Updates

  • This Shipping & Delivery Policy must be clearly linked in your site footer, checkout pages, and FAQs.
  • Any variations (e.g. different rules for holiday periods or certain products) must be disclosed in advance.
  • LUVAÉ reserves the right to update or revise this policy. Changes take effect upon posting.
  • Your continued use or purchases after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.


13. Additional Legal Considerations

  • This policy does not limit consumer rights under applicable state or federal laws (e.g. liability for defective goods).
  • If a part of this policy is deemed invalid under state law, the remainder stays in force.
  • In case of conflicts between this policy and a state’s more generous requirement, the state law prevails.
